The Future Of Furniture Design

NOMA are tackling the challenges of circularity with radical transparency

When was the last time you really looked at the furniture around you, and considered exactly how sustainable it might be? By questioning and assessing every step of a product’s life cycle, Bruce Ribay and Guillaume Galloy of NOMA have established a ground-breaking new model that consistently monitors and scores each piece’s environmental impact.

STUDIO

What we do

The Studio arm of Looms has organically developed over the years to support climate and impact driven ventures and organisations with their design, brand and community building opportunities. We operate as a compact, high touch senior creative team that values purpose and intention and blends helicopter thinking with passion for craft and curation.

How we do it

We love emerging patterns and early days - of an idea, a place, a product or a vision - and enjoy the responsibility and creative energy of turning these often messy moments into beautiful and tangible frameworks, experiences or platforms. Building identity, principles and foundations, for the future steps of the journey happen in a meaningful and joyful way.
